the legend of zelda live action casting reaction

First off, I am sorry that it took a long time to post another blog. I’ve been very sick the past two weeks and I just couldn’t post anything. I will do my best to post more blog posts for the rest of the summer. I do have a lot of ideas I want to write about. Thank you for understanding.

Like most of you I woke up this past Wednesday morning with the big news that both Zelda and Link has been cast of the movie that is coming out in May 2027. I thought that we would get this news sometime next year but nope the news came out last week. As all of you know that I did a legend of Zelda live action casting series on my blog. I had Mckenna Grace as Zelda and Reed Horstmann as Link. Well, I was off by a lot. So, who actually got cast? Let’s found out.

Playing the title character Zelda is the 21-year-old British actress Bo Bragason. She roles are the 2024 Disney plus series Renegade Neil and the 2024 film The Radleys. The one that have the honor to play the main character Link is 16-year-old British actor Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. He voices Pinocchio in the live action that have the same name. He is in the CBC show son of a Critch, and played Miles in the Netflix show the hunting of Bly Manor. (Source Wikipedia)

In my opinion, they nailed it big time. I thought that they had go for major actors to play these characters. Like in the Super Mario Bros movie. Yet they went with pretty much unknown and small name actors. To be fair I do remember hearing about Bo about two to four years ago, but I never heard of Benjamin. One major character wasn’t announced to be cast. It is the third part of the trinity Ganondorf. I am guessing that both Nintendo and Sony want to cast a major actor for that role. I am hoping that the movie will be good.
