Last time I pick the characters that I think that Marvel wants to be in the base roster for the upcoming Marvel Tokon fighting game. Today I am going to pick the characters that I want to be in the upcoming game for the base roster. This would be if I have the final say. This is a mix of mainstream characters, my personal favorites, and a few choices that is from out of left field. As for now we don’t know how many fighters will be in the main roster. I when with 32 in the last blog. So I will go with 32 here as well. When we get the official number, I will do an update.
Let’s start with the eight characters that we know is the game. Of those eight characters, I am only keeping five for them. They are Iron man, Cartain America, Storm, Spider Man, and Dr. Doom. So Ms. Marvel, Star Load, and Ghost rider got the axe. Most people don’t like Ms. Marvel. Disney and Marvel stop trying to make her a thing. I think that this is the new Ghost rider that drives a car instead of a motorcycle which is dumb. I’m not a fan of his so he’s gone. Star Load is okay, but I decided to send him home.
Now I will fill up the rest of the spots. We need the other avengers, Thor, Hulk, Falcon, and Black Widow. I am adding Hawkeye but it’s not actually him. Instead, it is his other persona Ronin. Since Ms. Marvel is out, I need someone that can extend his limbs to take her place. That is Dr Doom’s rival Mr. Fantastic. Next is Hulk’s cousin, She Hulk. For Star Load’s replacement I am going with another character from that series. Well it’s two characters. It’s the duo for Rocket and Groot. They can be a two in one character.
Now I’m adding in two street level heroes to the roster. They are Dare Devil and Blade. Now when I do dream rosters, I like to add at least a couple of oddball characters to the roster. I will now add more than a couple of oddballs. The first one is Shang Chi. I liked the movie. Too bad the MCU hadn’t bought him back yet. Next is Luna Snow. Thanks to Marvel Rivals, Luna has become popular. Up next is Rescue aka Pepper Potts. Tony’s love is on the roster. Iron Man will be stronger, but Rescue will be faster. White Wolf made the cut. I don’t want the White Wolf to be Bucky Barnes, but I want him to Tchalla’s adopted brother Hunter. The last one of the oddballs with be Squirrel girl.
With need fighters that can use magic so Dr. Strange and Magik makes it. Now I’m going to add villains. First is the evil robot Ultron. I wanted to include someone from the Spider Man universe, so I am going with Vulture. The next bad guy is the X men most famous foe, Mangeto. The last villain is the main bad. It is of course Thanos.
The last group I will put on my dream roster is my favorite group, the X men. To start I will add my favorite Marvel character, Gambit. With Gambit on the roster, I need to include his main squeeze, Rouge. I wasn’t a fan of his but after playing the Marvel vs Capcom collection, he is starting to grow on me. The character is the leader of the X men, Cyclops. I usually put him as a DLC fighting but this time I am going to place him on the main roster, Deadpool. Next up is the sexy Psylocke. Finally, the last fighter is of course Wolverine.
