Before I get started, I must say that I am sorry. I meant to get this out last week, but I was sick as a dog. I’m still not at 100% but I well enough to do this blog. Last time I did the first 10 predictions for 2025. Now it’s11 time to do the last 15.
11 Fairgames will fail
Fairgame$ is Sony’s latest attempt to find their fontnite. It’s a game you steal from the rich. Aka a bunch of people that want won’t want to work and have everything given to them on a silver plate. I think that Sony’s newest live service game will be another massive flop. Sony just stick with single player games.
12 New resident evil game
2025 should be the year that we should have the next RE game. It could be nine, code veronica remake, RE5 remake, or something completely new.
13 New Mega Man
Now for another Capcom prediction. The last Mega man game (Mega Man 11) get came out in 2018. I know that I made this prediction a couple of years ago. We are overdue for the next installment in the series.
14 Assassins creed shadows will fail
We all wanted an assassin creed game set in feudal Japan but you clowns f it up big time. This game could put Ubisoft on their death beds.
15 Something will happen to Ubisoft
With their so called call of duty killer XDefiant being another failure, it seems that Ubisoft will be on life support soon. Something major will happen to them next year. I have four guesses. First, they will sell some of their IPs to recoup money. Like Rayman for example. Second, they will merge will another struggling company in order to survive. Third some company will buy them. It’s looking like Tancent may do it. The fourth and final guess is that they will go bankrupt and go out of business.
16 GTA 6 will cost $100 for the standard edition
Rumor have it that Rockstar will charge $100 for the game. I do think it is true.
17 3D Mario will be a launch title for the switch 2
I think that this is a mistake. Mario Kart 9 should be the Mario game launch title.
18 No switch price drop for all the switch
If they want the all-time sells record, Nintendo should drop the price for the regular, lite, and OLDE model but this is Nintendo.
19 Nintendo vs Pocket pals lawsuit case verdict
Nintendo is using pocket pals who made Palworld. I am not an expert on Japanese law, but I think that this will end in two. They are that I think that Nintendo will lose or the two parties will settle out of court.
20 Sony will try to sue the makers of light of Motiram
We all seen the horizon rip off game light of Motiram made by Tencent. I think that Sony will get all of their lawyers to possibly sue them. Let this is China so this might not happen at all.
21 Zelda remake or remastered
We will not going to get the next mainline Zelda game for some time. I think will have a Zelda game for the first year of the switch 2. Most likely it will be a remake or a remastered. Could it be four swords or a link of time. My guess that it will be ocarina of time.
22 Legend of Zelda movie news
This is a nice segway to the next prediction. In 2025 I do believe we will finally get news on the upcoming Zelda movie. Maybe it could be the first direct of 2025. We will learn about the cast and the release date.
23 Crazy taxi will be the first
Sega is bringing back some of their beloved IPs back to life. I think that the classic Dreamcast game Crazy taxi will be the first game off the starting block.
24 Xbox games coming to the switch 2
This sjould be a slam dunk. Maybe Nintendo will get Blinx or maybe Halo.
25 Switch 2 will cost $399.99
As we all wait for the switch 2 to finally arrive, I guess that the price will be $399.99
