A couple of blogs ago, I wrote the IPs that Sega needs to bring back by the way of remake, remastered, or a brand-new version. Today I am going to do the same of Sega once greatest rival, Nintendo. Just like Sega, Nintendo is just letting these IPs sitting on the selves collecting dust. This is more shameful than Sega because most of the greatest and most loved gaming franchises is owned by Nintendo. Nintendo if you don’t think that making a remake, remastered, or a brand-new version of the games that I am listing down won’t make money? Just look at how well Metroid prime mastered is doing.
I am going start in a different direction. These four third party games were on Nintendo systems years ago. These games need to return to the switch or next console. First is one of my all-time favorite games of the Wii. It is mad world. I love this game with all the violence and gore in it. Please talk to platinum games about this game. After them Nintendo needs to talk with Konami in order to bring the n64 cult classic Mystical ninja starring Goemon. I want to play as Goemon once again. especially when he is using his mecha suit. If treasure is still around, please get them to get mischief makers for the N64 back. if not please buy the IP. The last one is San Franciso rush by Midway. Midway is no longer ago, please buy the IP as well.
Now for the Nintendo stuff. Everyone loves Mario kart but believe or not Nintendo made other racing games as well. The most famous one of these is f zero. The last f zero is we got was GX way back on the GameCube. There been rumors that a remastered of this game will come out, hopefully that will be true. I love crusin’ USA back in the arcades. This needs a all new version along with crusin’ world. Two other game racing games for the N64 are 1080 snowboarding and wave rave 64 needs a new coat of paint too. The last racing game that needs to be mentioned is excite bike. This might have been the very first racing game on the NES.
I can’t understand why Nintendo will not bring back eternal darkness. Too me it is one of the greatest GameCube games ever made. Bring it back please. Another game that Nintendo will not back for whatever reason is both of the Golden sun games for the GBA.
The rest of the games are some of the classic IPs Nintendo owns but hadn’t make a new game about them for years. First is Donkey Kong. There been rumors of a new Donkey Kong game for a while. Maybe we will see it. At least make a remastered of the classic super Nintendo version. Next is the earthbound series. I never played those games but many fans want the series to make a comeback. The last Star fox game we got was the awful Star fox zero for the Wii U. Fix the control scheme, polish up the graphics, and bring it to the switch. Of course, a new Star fox game would be better. Do you think it been a very long time since got new games from these IPs? None of them compare to the punch out series. The last punch out game with got is back on the SNES. We are begging for Nintendo to make a new punch out game. The last game I want to mention is Kid Icarus. The last time we got to play as Pit was Kid Icarus uprising for the 3DS. We saw Mario playing the original Kid Icarus in the movie, so maybe at is a sign that Nintendo will release a new Kid Icarus game in the near future.
That is for now. Nintendo have so many other great IPs under their belt, I highly will likely do another blog about this subject listing more of their franchises in the future. Like with my Sega IP blog I will make a copy of this blog and send this to Nintendo. If they do write back I will tell all of you about it.
