Last week was supposed to be a great week for Nintendo but we all know that didn’t happened. Hell last week maybe was the worst week in Nintendo’s history. I will get straight to the point. I hate that some games will cost $80. I can understand Nintendo’s reasons why which I will get to that later, but I still hate it. It’s not just me; most hate it as well. Way more than me. I am angrier that Nintendo has handle that situation so damn poorly. When this drama started, the very next day Nintendo should had made a statement about the $80 price. I am still pissed that Nintendo still not made a statement. I can understand that Nintendo want to ride out this storm, but this is now out of hand and Nintendo needs to fix this now.
Believe it or not most of the angry is not towards Nintendo but towards pretty much everyone that is complaining about it. Before I go on everyone have the right to complain about the price. It’s in their rights and that is fine. What I am really pissed about it how they are doing it. First off it pissed me off most saying that Nintendo is greedy. That is true. Guess what? Every company on earth is fucking greedy. Sony, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Sega, Mcdonald’s, Walmart, Burger King, and hell even your local Ma and Pa store is greedy. If they weren’t greedy then they would be out of business. I don’t understand why Nintendo always get the brunt of this shit. These people on YouTube are treating Nintendo like they are worse than Adolf himself.
At the treehouse events when everyone was keep posting drop the price, I was thinking wow what a shit show. Again, they have the right be mad and protest the price. When this was happening, I was wondering how many of these people posting drop the price are still going to but the switch 2 and Mario kart world anyway? H0w many of them that are outrage about the $80 but they will spend over a $1000 to upgrade on an overprice smart phone every year? Let me repeat, every damn year. I have a question? For all the people that is doing the drop the price shit, will you do the same thing if GTA VI is $100? Which most likely will be a $100 and that is just for the standard edition. Also, it’s really fucking pissing me off that some of these YouTube people are spreading misinformation about the switch 2 like the key cards or Nintendo is no longer making physical copies like Aids.
Why Nintendo made some for the games are $80? They are many reasons that this could happen. Develpment cost is high, manufacturing costs are high, supply and demand, inflation, tariffs, the yen is weak, bad economy, a recession or something else we don’t know about. One or more of these could be the reason. I hate the price hike, but Nintendo is not a charity. Like it or not, they have to do things in order to stay in business. For us the consumers, I get it. The cost of living is difficult to deal with. Everything except for wages is going up. It’s to buy everyday needs. Like food, gas, medication, paying bills, and so on. I am in the same boat as well.
For everyone that hates the $80 price tag, well all of you are in of a rude awaking. Sadly, this is the future of gaming. As i mentioned earlier, GTA VI will most likely be a $100. We all know that that game will sell as gangbusters even with the high price. Other companies will follow suit with their own high prices. To all that think that the $450 price for the switch 2 is too high. Well, wait till the PS6 and the next Xbox to come out. The PS6 might be $800 at launch. Guess what? the games for those system will be high as well. Fuck they might be higher than $80. How many of you will post drop the price if both the PS6 and next Xbox prices are high?
For all that are whining, moaning, and bitching about the price, I have a couple of ideas of you. A you can save up money to buy it or B don’t buy it. Nintendo is not putting a gun to your head with their finger on the trigger and forcing you to buy Mario kart world. Not all games for the switch 2 is $80. The new Donkey Kong is $70 and Street fighter 6 is $60. I can’t understand why people can’t get that thought their fucking thick skulls.
At the end I do hope that Nintendo will drop the price of Mario kart world to $70 or give us free tracks, guess characters, free karts, and free DLC for people who buy the game within the first six months to a year in order to justify the $80 price.
