Yesterday we got news that Sony announced their new state of play event will happen on June 2nd. It is weird that they would announce it almost two weeks in advance. I think the reason why is all the of the backlash they got from increasing the price of the PSN subscription. They did to get the goodwill back from the pissed off fans. The show will be around an hour long and will have a heavy focus on the Wolverine game. What else will they show? I will do my best to answer that. I do that that this will be a big state of play. It has to in order to convince people to folk over $900 to buy a PS5. Now I will predict what else could be at the show.
Concord reborn
We all know that Concord is the biggest disaster in gaming history with their ugly as f**king ass looking characters. At the show Sony with shock the world by bringing back Concord that is a major reboot. With better graphics, better gameplay, better maps, and of course better looking characters. In fact the game will have all new characters that will put the old ones to shame. Just kidding! Not even Sony is that stupid. Now let’s get into the real predictions.
Fairgames gameplay
Sony will show off their next live service abomination. The big questions are how long the game will last before Sony cancel it and how long before Sony shut down Raven studios?
Intergalactic the heretic prophet
The game will most likely will not come out this year. I do think we will see more from the latest offering from the king of soy himself, Neil Druckmann.
Stellar blade 2
It will not be out this year. I do think that shift up will show a trailer for the squeal to the hit game. I can’t wait to see more of the sexy Eve.
Marvel Tokon
We will see more from the fighting game before it comes out in August.
Something from Sega
Highly likely it will be something Sonic. Maybe it could be one of those returning IPs that they show a few years but are not out yet.
God of War
God of War returns but Kratos and his son will not be the heroes. This time it will be Kratos’ wife. I don’t remember what her name is. I do not have a good feeling about this one.
Infamous remake or a new game.
I want Infamous to return. I love the first game. Sadly I never play the second one. If the rumors are right, both of these games will get the remake treatment. Maybe we will get a long waited new tilte in the series.
Returning IP
With the news from yesterday that Sony will keep their single player games exclusive (Yeah), they could be a good chance that an old IP will make a mojar return. If you read my blogs, you know that I want Ape escape to remake so badly.
RE9 DLC
Capcom loves to show resident evil at the state of play. I think that they will show the DLC to RE9. I think that Ada will be the star. Maybe it will star Grace instead. I think it will be Ada and it will reveal that Ada is Leon’s wife.
FF7 part 3
For the final and big one. we will see the third and final part of the FF7 remake trilogy.
