A few days ago, I review the movie Resident evil degeneration. Now I am going to review another resident evil straight to DVD CGI movie, vendetta. The movie came out back in 2017. Chris, Leon, and Rebecca team up to stop an arms dealer from releasing a new virus in New York City. I will vaguely explain the story, give my thoughts, and if I would recommend the movie. This will have minor spoilers. So is the movie good or I wasted my money renting it?
The movie beings with Leon in a morgue. i will not tell you what happened next. Then we catch up with Chris. Chris and his team go to an old mansion deep in the woods. Chris must be getting some serious Deja vu. They are hunting down the arms dealer. Let’s just said that it didn’t went well.
In a lab, we see Rebecca. She is now a university professor. She and her team is trying to find the vaccine to the virus that is spreading around the USA. I won’t spoil what happen next. The two goes to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado to find Leon. Leon is drinking away his sorrows. Why? Again, I won’t said because it is getting into spoiler territory. The bar is under attack. Something happened to one of the three. The last part takes place in NYC. That is the story.
The villain is good. He is a bad guy, but he does ha e a good reason to get payback. The action senses are good like in degeneration, but they can get way over the top that times. Sadly, they still have the dumb slow-motion trash. The motorcycle chase is my favorite part of the movie. As for the story it is good, well as good as you can get of a resident evil. The CGI is very good for 2017.
Should you watch it? If you are a resident evil fan, then the answer is yes.
