Hello everyone, it is time for my annual predictions list. The past couple of years, I had gone a little overbroad with my predictions. Well not this time. I will only go with ten predictions for 2026. I must give all of you a heads up. If i do think of more predictions, I will do another blog about it. Now let’s see want I think that the gaming world will have in store for us next year.
- Ganondorf’s actor will be announced
Will know who will play Link and Zelda in the upcoming film. Now we need to know who will play Ganondorf. It should happen next year. It might happen in the next direct.
2. Sydney Sweeney or Ann Kendrick will voice Amy in Sonic 4
I believe that one of these two actresses will be the voice actress in the 4th Sonic movie. I will give the edge to Anna because she did voice acting before.
3. The steam machine will cost between $500 to $800 for the 512 GB version and between $800 to $1200 for the 2TB version
We know that Value will not sell this for a loss. Also, with the cost of RAM getting so high of late, I think that the so called Gabecube will not be cheap.
4. Prices for consoles will go up because of the RAM shortage
The last prediction is the perfect segway to the next one. Thanks to AI, RAM is now so expensive, it coming to the point that it so almost unfordable. Because of this, consoles prices will skyrocket. If you want a switch 2, PS5, or for some reason a series X to better get them now.
5. Mario Kart world DLC
I think we will finally get much needed DLC for Mario kart world. With more tracks and racers.
6. Castlevania returns
This is mostly my biggest longshot, but I believe that the vampire slaying series will make it long overdue comeback next year.
7. The Ocarina of time remake or remastered will cost $80
I think that Nintendo will bring the remake of the timeless classic to the switch 2 as part of the 40th anniversary celebration. Yet sadly the game will most likely be $80. Better start saving up now.
8. Stellar blade will arrive for the switch 2 and series X
I am guessing that the hit PS5 game starting the very sexy Eve will come to the switch 2 and series X next year
9. GTA 6 will be a $100 for the standard edition
This was one of my predictions from last year. As we all know, the game has been delayed to November 19, 2026. So I will transfer this prediction to this list.
10. GTA 6 will be on the switch 2
I do have a good feeling about this. Maybe this is one of the reasons that the game got delaying so rock star can put the game on the switch 2. We will see.
