In my continuing live action casting series, I am going to do the game clock tower. The clock tower is a point and click survival horror game created by Hifumi Kono and human entertainment. The first game came out for the super Famicom (SNES in Japan) in Japan in 1995. The game never releases outside of Japan. Clock tower (1996) and Clock tower 2: the struggle within (1998) came out on the PS1 and was localized outside of Japan. The last game in the series Clock Tower 3 was co-produced by Sunsoft and Capcom. The game was released for the PS2 in 2002. (source Wikipedia). If you never played the first time before. Clock tower rewind is now available on all platforms.
Now I will give you a Non spoiler synopsis of the plot of the first game. The game takes place in Norway in September 1995. An orphan name Jennifer Simpson and her three fellow orphan friends Laura, Anne, and Lottie are adopted by a rich recluse named Simon Burroughs. A woman names Miss Mary leads the girls to Simon’s mansion that have a huge clock tower. The girls set in a room as Miss Mary gets Simon. Miss Mary hasn’t come back yet for a long time. Jennifer decides to look for her. I don’t want to spoil want happens next but soon Jennifer is being hunted by a deform boy with a large pair of scissors. Your decisions will affect the story of the game.
Now I will cast the main character, Jennifer. I am looking for someone that is young enough and looks close to Jennifer as possible. I’ve selected seven candidates to play Jennifer. You probably know that this works by now, but I will tell everyone that is not familiar. I will listed the candidates one by one. At the end I will pick the actress that I feel that will be the best fit for the role.
Sarah Dorothy Little
I will start with two Sarahs. The first Sarah is Sarah Dorothy Little. She is in the movie Almost popular.
Sarah Desjardins
I ‘am more familiar with this Sarah. Desjardins plays Cllie Sadecki in the show yellowjackets. She does do looks a bit like Jennifer.
Ruby Rose Turner
First it was the two Sarahs, now it’s the two Rubys. First is Ruby Rose Turner. Ruby is in Almost popular with Sarah Dorothy Little. She is known as a Disney channel star. Ruby in the show Coop and Cami ask the world and in the Disney channel movie Descendants: The rise of red.
Ruby Marino
The other Ruby is also a Disney channel star. Ruby Marino is in the new Disney channel star Electric Bloom.
Sophie Thatcher
Sophie is the very beautiful star who plays teen Natalie and is Sarah Desjardins costar in Yellowjackets. She was also in the Star Wars show the book of Boba Fett.
Emma Myers
This lovely lady is in the program Wednesday. Being on that show do give her some experience in horror.
Kenzi Richardson
The last one is the cute Kenzi Richardson. She is a singer. Kenzi is in the upcoming Disney channel live action version of Vampirina.
So who is the winner and will play Jennifer? With her roles in the horror movies Companion and The Boogeyman, I am going with Sophie Thatcher.
