Around a year ago I did a blog called the greatest fighters. This is where I pick fighters from every fighting game I could find. Overall I pick over 200 characters. Soon I will make the roster for it and having over 200 fighters is too much. So I will select the ones that I want. But today I will make the ground rules for the game.
First off the game will be a 1 vs 1 2D fighter. We will have different type of stages. Many of them will be regular 2D stages. Yet in them you can interact with a few objects like throw something towards your foe, Also you can flip on something like a stool or a wall to escape when you are trap in a corner. Also in some stages you can activate something like a loose floorboard in order to launch you foe into the air. In some you can knock your opponent so hard that he or she will go to a different part of the stage. Just like injustice 2 for example. We will have a few ring out stages as well. Even if you are losing, if you can knock your foe out of the ring you will win.
All the characters from all the games have different control schemes. In the game we have to have a universal control scheme. The control scheme will be like street fighter will light, medium, and heavy punches and kick. The special moves will both quarter and half circles movements and then hitting the right button. We will also have a block button. All the fighters will have their own super attack.
If a fighter uses a weapon from their game then they can use it. The will be no finishing moves after you defeated your opponent.
At the select screen, you can two or three different colors for the fighters’ outfits. Also you can pick the stage you want to fight in.
Finally we will have two story modes. One will focus on Ryu and the other will focus on Scorpion. Each story Ryu and Scorpion we meet and interact with different fighters. Of course you will play as Ryu, Scorpion, and the other fighters in each story.
For the extra features. We win have DLC packs. How many packs and how many fighters are in those packs? i haven’t decided yet. We will have a crypt mode just like in MK11. In this mode you will go around the world of the alpha in order to buy items in the game like new outfits, music, artwork, unlocking characters, and so on. Unlike in MK11, you will not have grind to get enough in game currency to get the stuff that you want. The in-game currency will be the points that to earn by win matches, rounds, and performing combos. It will not cost much to unlock these items in the crypt.
