Once in a while I like to watch boss fights in games from YouTube. One of my favorite series to watch boss fights is from the castlevania series. We haven’t got a new castlevania game since lords of shadow 2 flopped back in 2014. Seeing that Konami cares more about trading cards and Pachinko machines, we might not play another castlevania game for years. Unless someone buys the IP of course. Looking back on all the boss fights, these are the 13 bosses I want to make a comeback.
Dancing Specters
The first few are bosses that only show up one time. The first fight is the dancing specters from Super castlevania four. They are a ghostly dancing couple that attacks with swords. I am shocked that they appear once in the series. This is one of my favorite fights in the entire series.
Toy maker
The toy maker is from lords of shadow 2. I like this fight because it was very unusual and the toy maker have a great background story. I do encourage you to look up the story.
Spectral sword
This fight is from adventure rebirth. The sword uses well swords and other sharp objects to launch at you.You must destroy the objects and then attack the spectral sword itself.
Hippogryph
I love taking on fighting bosses. To me, Hippogryph from Symphony of the night is the best one. It breaths fire and lays eggs that will hatch quickly and the birds will attack you.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub is from symphony of the night as well. The giant creature is just hanging there on the wall. You must attack the parts of his body.
Brachyura
The fight against this crab like creature is from order of ecclesia. what makes this battle unique is take to must climb up a tower while Brachyura is chasing you down (or up). You have to dodge it attacks and get it to destroy the ceiling so you can proceed. The only way to kill it is by getting in an elevator and dropping it on the beast and crush it to death.
Puppet master
This is from dawn of sorrow. It is a giant head with four arms. You must hit the head and hands while dodging the puppet master’s puppets.
Gear Steamer
I like fighting mechanical beings in games. The gear steamer from bloodlines is a good one. It is a collection of gears and an orb that takes a humanoid form and other forms as well. To win you have to attack the orb.
Two faces
Like gear steamer, two faces are from bloodlines as well. This is actually a sub boss fight but heck I am counting it. This boss switches from the two faces and a pillar. You have to avoid the faces shooting little floating balls at you while striking the pillar when it shows up.
Blackmore
Blackmore is a human villain from order of ecclesia. What makes this fight awesome is that he uses shadow puppets to fight.
Walter Bernhart
Before Dracula the main vampire was Walter Bernhart from lament of innocence. Lament of innocence is the only game that Walter pops up in. It is ashamed. Walter must return.
Erzsebet Bathory
Erzebet is the evil bitch that is responsible for bringing back Dracula in bloodlines. She needs to return in another game.
Carmilla
Let’s end this list with another evil bitch, Carmilla. Carmilla is a staple in the series. From Dracula’s servant to love interest. The last time she was in a game was the last game of the series lords of shadow 2.
