Welcome back for part 2 of my 2024 predictions. Last year I did 30 predictions. I am not going to do that many this time. I am only going to do 15. In the last one I did 10, now I am doing the last 5. Maybe at least one of them will come true before the end of 2023. One of my predictions from the last time already came true.
11 Sony will have a bounce back year.
2023 has been a hellish year for the PlayStation. Let me remind you of a few of the bad things that happened. Forespoken was a major flop, they increase the price for PS plus, they had a horrible showcase, and the big one they failed to stop Microsoft from buy Activision and blizzard. Despite of all of those setbacks, I do believe that Sony will have a great 2024. How will they do this? Having a great lineup of games is a good start.
12 new Sega mini console
I think that Sega will bless us with a new Mini console next year. Will it be a Saturn or a Dreamcast mini that everyone wants? Sadly no. I think it will be the genesis mini 3. Maybe this time Sega will gave us the games that we want like the lunar series, quack shot, or eternal champions challenges from the dark side.
13 Resident evil news
I believe that Capcom will bring us some big resident evil news next year. What will it be? Another remake, info about a new movie, or we will see resident evil 9?
14 Nintendo price increase on their online service and expansion pack
Everything is rising in price these days. Microsoft did it to game pass. Sony did it to PS plus. I do believe that Nintendo will do the same.
15 The switch 2 will arrive
For my finally and biggest prediction of all. Nintendo new console will come in 2024. It is time. The switch’s time is over. The new console needs to be here in 2024.
