We arrive at the last month of the year, so it’s time for me to bring out my last 10 predictions for 2023.
21 series x will fall behind the Ps5 in sales
PS5 will dominate Xbox in sales again.
22 Sega might be sold
This is more wishful thinking. Sega has been surviving all of these years just making sonic games and the altus games. I do believe one day they will put themselves for sell. Maybe it will be next year. Who will buy them? Unfortunately, it could be Microsoft. The embracer group might step forward. Best yet a fellow Japanese company might buy them. Of course I am talking about Nintendo.
23 Tears of the Kingdom special switch edition
100% is going to happen
24 Chrono trigger 2d remake
Because of some stupid rights issues, this classic RPG have ever come to another console. That’s a long shot but we could get a re-release or a 2D remake.
25 More cloud games coming to the switch
Earlier it was announced that the cloud versions of resident evil 7, 8, resident evil 2 and 3 remake is coming to the switch via the cloud. I believe that more games will come to the switch by the cloud. If I have to guess on a series, it would be the metal gear series.
26 Astral chain 2 coming
I believe that we will see footage of the squeal to the hit game. I don’t know if it will come out next year yet again I think we will see footage.
27 Perfect dark is out next year
Earlier I stated that I believe that that many exclusives will come to the series x next year. I think that one of them will be perfect dark. I don’t know that the game will be a squeal or a remake of the n64 classic. Many will enjoy playing as Joanna Dark once again. Myself included.
28 no switch price drop
100% not going to happen
29 Scarlett and Violet is not getting DLC
For awhile I thought that both games were going to get DLC to them. Now it looks like game freak will be too busy patching up the games so they will not be able to bring out any DLC to them.
30 no new switch in 2023
Finally we reach the last and most important prediction. Will the new switch next year? For everyone on Youtube whining that we need the new switch now, I don’t see it happening next year. I would love for it to come out next year, again I don’t see it. I did wrote about this in my blog. Their is too many real world factors in play. Like the chip shortage, rising prices of components, limited supplies, and the switch is still selling well. Many of these things that people are not thinking about. I would love to be wrong that this.
That’s it. By this time next year, I will go back and see what I got correct.
