Not too long ago, I picked a few actresses that can play Samus in a live action movie. Today I will do the same of a possible live action version of the legend of Zelda movie. This will depend on if the super Mario bros movie is a hit or not. If it is, then the Zelda movie will mostly likely happen. The movie could be animated like Mario but if they go live action, that will be awesome. In fact I hope this will be the direction they will head too. I pick both actors and actresses (at least five each) that can play the main three characters. That being Link, Ganondorf, and Zelda. I want the actors and actresses to look like their characters and to act like they do in the games. Like I said in the Samus blog, I ‘am not an expert in casting, so I did my best. Let’s being.
Link
We’ll will start with the hero Link. To be honest, I’ve that a hell of a time having five actors that can play him. I only found three that is worthy to play Link. I want the Adult Link. Link don’t talk but I want him to sound so of manly. Also he needs to act like if he is uninsured of himself of becoming a hero.
Tom Holland
The MCU version of spider man. He does have the Link look to him, but I am not to trill about his voice. I know that Link doesn’t talk but I don’t want Link to sound like an eight-year-old with a squeaky voice.
Austin Bulter
He is an actor from the show Austin and Ally and the Elvis biopic movie. The only reason I picked him because he has the Link look.
Reed Horstmann
Hie is an actor from the Disney show the villains of valley view. Again, the only reason I picked is that he has the Link look.
Tom Holland is the clear choice. He is a major star, and the movie will need star power in order to be a hit. I might redo the Link list another time when I can find more actors.
Ganondorf
Unlike Link, I had much better luck finding actors that can play the villain of the games.
Dwayne Johnson
Better known as the rock, Dwayne is a major box office draw. He got the body to play Ganondorf. I think that at one time he said that he wanted to play Ganondorf. Sometimes I think that Dwayne’s acting is questionable. Plus I don’t believe he can be play dramatically evil. Ganondorf needs to dramatically evil.
Daniel Craig
Bond, James Bond. I believe that Daniel can be a great Ganondorf. I love his voice and his voice sounds evil even though he was playing a good guy in the Bond movies.
Barry Keoghan
Barry is one of the stars of that awful Eternals movie. What caught my eye about him is his performance as the Joker in the Batman movie that came out last year. His scene was very short but very impressment. He can play evil. Barry can bring something different to the table if he does get the role.
Josh Brolin
Josh played Thanos in the MCU movies. He definitely has the voice and look to play Ganondorf.
Idris Elba
He is a great actor that star in many movies and TV shows. He already has experience staring in a video game movie. He voiced Knuckles in Sonic 2.
For me, it is between Daniel Craig and Idris Elba. I pick Idris because I think he can fit the role better.
Zelda
At last, we have reached at the title character
Mckenna Grace and Sydney Sweeney
If you read my Samus blog, you know I picked these two to possible play the space bounty hunter. Now again I am picking these two to possibly to play Zelda. Mckenna is young but she does have a lot of experience. Sydney has a lot of sex appeal.
Lia Mchugh
Like Barry, Lia also stared in the awful eternals movie. The only positive that came from the film was Lia’s character which was sprite. If she does get the part, Lia can bring a sassy attitude to Zelda.
Peyton List
She is one of the stars of the hit Netflix show, Cobra Kai. Peyton definitely have a Zelda look that I am looking for. her acting skills are sometimes mixed too me.
Sophia Lillis
I found out about her when she played Nancy Drew in the 2019 film. Even since, she started in the two It movies and a few Indy films as well. She will be in the new dungeons and dragons movie coming out next year. The only negative is that can she look well as a blonde.
Markella Kavenagh
She plays Nori in the terrible the rings of power TV show. Trust me, don’t watch it. I picked as a candidate because she has the Zelda look that I want. Of all the women I picked, she’s the one that come closest to looking like Zelda.
The one that I choose to play Zelda is Mckenna Grace.
