Last Tuesday the Nintendo e3 direct aired. I made a prediction list on a earlier blog what I think what will and won’t happen. Later I write on my overall review of the E3 direct Now let’s see what i got right and wrong.

New smash character 100%

Me, everyone, and their grandmother was right this. The newest fighter is Kazuya Mishima from the tekken series.

Xbox game pass 50%

I thought this had a decent chance but I was wrong. It looks Nintendo doesn’t want to help Xbox get a footing in Japan.

Breath of the wild 2 100%

We got new footage from the game. Link got a new right arm, will be traveling to the sky world, and can pass solid objects. Sadly we didn’t got a release date. I believe that the game will be release sometime in 2022.

Zelda’s 35th anniversary 100%

We got news about the anniversary but it is not what most wanted. We gotten more footage form skyward sword. Instead of getting a 35th anniversary collection for the switch like with Mario, with got a game and watch. The very first two Zelda games, and Link’s awakening for the game boy will land on November 12. Maybe we will hear about a anniversary collection for the switch on the fall direct.

Super Mario party 100%

Many was right. Nintendo is bring back many popular maps from the n64 to the games.

Super Mario odyssey 2 50%

I had some hope that Nintendo might shock the gaming world with a brand new Mario adventure but it didn’t happen.

Mario kart 9 0%

I was right it was a no show. In fact I don’t think we will see this game for another 3 to 5 years.

Metroid prime 4 0%

As I guess, prime 4 didn’t show up. I believe we will hear nothing about prime 4 until next year. The game might come out in 2023 or 2024.

Metroid prime trilogy 0%

Like prime 4, nothing. I was right about this as well.

New 2D Metroid 50%

This was 50/50 to me. Yet Nintendo bought happiness to everyone when they reveal Metroid Dread. This is the first 2D Metroid game since Metroid fusion in 19 years. In gameplay Samus is bring hunted by some robotic type foe. We won’t have to wait long as the game is coming to the switch on October 11.

Bayonetta 3 0%

I me, many figure that we will get nothing this game and we were correct. I got nothing about the game since 2017. they said that the development of the game is going well but i doubting that. I think that they are having issues will the development. i could be wrong.

Splatoon 3 50%

I taught we might get a little info on this but i was wrong.

New Pokemon diamond and pearl remake 100%

100% wrong about this

Pokemon Arceus 50%

I taught we might get more info on this but I was wrong.

New Donkey Kong 50%

I did brought into the hype and rumors about a new 3D Donkey Kong game, but we got nothing about this.

New monolith game 100%

Sadly I was wrong about this.

Xenoblade chronicles x remake 50%

I was wrong about this. Hopefully this remake will still happen one day.

Returning ip 0%

I thought this wasn’t going to happen but it. Is it golden sun, kid Icarus, or a fan favorite? No it is advance wars. Don’t get me wrong advance wars does have it fans but i wanted a slightly bigger ip to return.

Of all my guesses i was 100% sure of, i only got seven right.
