Tomorrow we are getting a new direct. It will be about a whopping 60 minutes long. What will be shown? I will give a best guess on which games will pop up. I will put these games into three categories. Highly likely, 50/50, and unlikely. I will not do games that already have a release date like Pokémon Z A for example. Before I get started, I want to state which I will transfer both my July and Mario 40th anniversary directs into my predictions recaps blogs.

Unlikely

I will start with the games that I think that have a very slim chance to be in the direct.

Call of Duty 7

Metal gear solid delta

I think this will arrive next year.

Astral chain 2

Insider Nash Weeler said that Nintendo is finishing working on this since pretty much the important people are leaving platinum studios. I don’t see it shown here.

Far cry 7

Rumor has it that this game might pop up but I don’t think so.

FF7rebirth

Insider Nate the hate said this will be on the switch 2 soon.

Metaphor refantazio

With Persona 3 announce back in the partner direct, this game might be announce next year.

Stellar blade

A Playstation game

GTA VI

50/50

Games that have a 50% shot of showing up

Hades 2

This game has been on radio silence since it was shown back in April. Maybe it will get a release date.

Starfield

Shenmue 3

This game was announced for the switch 2 a while back. Parts 1 and 2 needs to come out before three.

Next Sega IP

I am thinking it will be Crazy taxi or streets of rage.

Assassin creed shadow

I gave Unisoft I lot of crap, but I must give credit where it is due. They did a great job importing Star Wars outlaws and the game is selling well. Shadow might pop up.

Gear of wars reloaded

Microsoft is finally announcing games to the switch 2. Will reloaded be next.

Spaltoon raiders

I think that the game will come in summer 2026.

Silent hill 2 remake

Clair obscure expedition 33

maybe next year

Marvel rivals

The game is coming to the PS4 on September 12. Maybe this will be a shadow drop.

Planet robobot

Metroid prime 2 and 3

Professor Layton

Ace attorney

Halo 1

Monolith soft next game

Metroid prime 4

I got a bad feeling that this will be delay to 2026. I hope I am wrong

Super Mario wonder switch 2 edition

Final fantasy16

Baldur’s gate 3

Animal crossing

If it shows up, then this might be the big holiday 2026 game

Highly likely

I think these games will most likely be at the direct

Doom the dark ages

Sonic racing crossworlds switch 2

I might see the switch 2 edition

Fire emblem

Might come in January 2026

Tomodachi life living the dream

Age of imprisonment

I think it will be release in February 2026

Witcher 3 switch 2 edition

Red dead redemption 2

Resident evil 4 remake

Dusk golem said that RE2 remake, RE3 remake, RE4 remake, RE7, RE8, and RE9 will be on the switch 2. I believe that RE4 remake will be the one that will be showcase.

Elden ring tarnished edition

Don’t be shocked if the game is delay into 2026

FF7 remake

We should get the release date. I think it will be Feb 2026.

A Mario sports game

Mario 3D

This might end the show
