First off I must make a disclaimer, I have not watched both the first and second season of the last of us TV show. I did see a few clips of the show on Youtube. I really can’t make a judgement if it good or not. However, I know one thing about the show, it is horribly miscast. Seriously the casting is bad. I am going to fix Neil’s and HBO’s mistake and fix the casting. If you been following my casting series on my blog, one of my goals is that I try to this match the actors’ looks as close to their video game counterparts as possible. It will be the same here. Let’s start.

Abby

I will start with one of the easiest one, Abby. Nothing against Kaitlyn Dever but i am not getting an Abby vibe for her. Maybe the reason is that Kaitlyn is not a physical match for Abby. For the right actress I am going with the fan casting, and I am with Shannon Berry. Look her up! She looks more like Abby than Kaitlyn does. Unlike Kaitlyn, Shannon does have the built to play Abby. As a bonus, Shannon is way better looking than Abby.

Maria

One of the main reasons I don’t watch most modern day stuff is because of all of the race swapping crap. I have enough of it. In the game Maria is white and in the show Maria is black. Let’s change it. To play Maria I am going with Vanessa Kirby.

Sarah

Let fix another unnecessary race swap, Sarah from the first season. To replace Nico parker, I choose Maya Le Clark. she from the show the Thundermanns undercover.

Tommy

Another race swap that needs to be change is Tommy. Latino Tommy is not doing it for me. The new Tommy is Warren Kole from the show Yellowjackets.

Joel

I do think that Pedro Pascal despite the fact that he has no fashion sense is a good actor. Yet he has no business playing Joel. To fix this I am replacing Pedro with Gerald Butler.

Dina

Isabela Merced is a very beauiful and sexy actress. I did find someone that I would think would be a better Dina. It is Emily Tosta.

Ellie

Last and not least it’s Ellie. I’m tried not to be mean, but Bella doesn’t have the look. She was okay for season one but not for season 2. Season 2 takes place five years after the first season. You had the golden opportunity to replace her, but you guys didn’t do it. Like with most fan casting I am going with Cailee Spaeny.
