Today is February 2nd. Two months from now we will have the long-waited switch 2 direct. Rumor has it that we could get a switch direct. If this is true, this most likely will be the final switch direct. This might be the switch’s swam song. Us and Nintendo want to the switch to go out with a bang. Will Nintendo, do it? These are my predictions. I will rank my predictions from highly likely, 50/50, and longshot.

Metroid showcase

highly likely

I believe Metroid will be a huge showing. We should get both prime 2 and 3 here. If we don’t get them, then I think that both will never come to the switch. Maybe we could get the Samus return remake. Hopefully we will see more of prime 4.

Kirby planet robobot

highly likely

Leaker Nate the hate says that this game will come, and I do believe him.

Fire emblem game

longshot

Could will a fire emblem remake like genealogy of the holy war? I doubt it

Xenoblade chronicles X

highly likely

With the remaster of X coming this March, I think that Nintendo will show more of the game.

No new console for NSO expansion pack

highly likely

With the drip feed of games, sometimes I think Nintendo forgets that this still exist. With the life of the switch winding down, don’t expect the expansion pack to get another console.

Xbox games

50/50

I do think that Microsoft will show their big Xbox titles for the switch 2 direct. However, I have a feeling that they could show one title at this direct. It could be gears of war 1 remake or heck it could be Blinx.

Shadow drop

highly likely

We all know that Nintendo loves their shadow drop. If I have to guess, it will be prime 2.

Something Zelda

longshot

I don’t see any news on a Zelda game. No remakes or rerelease.

Zelda movie news

50/50

We are way overdue for news about the movie. We should get more info in the direct. Maybe we will get news on the cast.

Returning IP

50/50

Star fox, Yoshi, wave race, or something that hasn’t seen the light of day in years. If I would have a guest, it would be custom robo.

If we do get a direct this month, please come back to see what I got right.
