Back in 2023, I made my 15 predictions for want I taught would happen in 2024. Now let’s see want I got right and wrong.

1 GTA VI will be shown

The first trailer was shown back in December 2023, so I was off by a month. So, I got this wrong.

2 Beyond good and evil 2 will come out.

While at least Ubisoft was smart enough to release the original. The way things are going for Ubislop, beyond good and evil 2 will never see the light of day. I was wrong.

3 The last of us fractions is not coming out

This has been cancelled. Now naughty dog will focus on the bald-headed woman/it/whatever it their new game. I think that Neil might have a thing for her. I was correct.

4 Microsoft will not buy a studio

I was right. Watch out Microsoft might buy more in 2025.

5 Studios will be bought

Nintendo finally got off their behinds and bought a studio. They bought Shiver entertainment from the embracer group back in May 2024. This is a W for me.

6 PS5 pro and/or a series x pro will come out

We got the PS5 pro in Nov 7. I was right.

7 Steam deck 2 will arrive

I was incorrect. Maybe It will come this year.

8 Nintendo will announce the next movie in a direct

I will count this has only half right. Nintendo with Sony did announce the legend of Zelda in 2024 but it wasn’t in a direct.

9 No Sonic in 2024

Boy I was wrong. Sonic X Shadow generation came out last year. I will never underestimate the fact that Sega will always put out a Sonic game every year again.

10 Twilight princess, wind waker, and Xenoblade X in 2024 or ever.

I am glad I was wrong. I still don’t we will see both twilight princess and wind waker on new systems. At least we are getting Xenoblade X with better visuals and improve story on the switch this March.

11 Sony will have a bounce back year

Even thought that they had flops like foam stars and of course Concord I still think that Sony had a good 2024. Astro bot, stellar blade, hell divers, and FF7 rebirth gave the PS5 a good year.

12 new Sega mini console

I was wrong. With Sega pretty much want to start a subscription service, we will never get a mini console again.

13 Resident evil news

We got nothing

14 Nintendo price increase on their online service and expansion pack

They did not which is a good thing.

15 The switch 2 will arrive

I flop on my biggest prediction for 2024.

Overall score

5.5 correct

9.5 incorrect
