This month the president of Nintendo had announced that the next system will be announce this fiscal year. He also said that they will be a direct this June. He said that they will be no news on the switch 2 and the direct will focus on the second half of 2024. So the question is what will be in the show. These are my predictions.

DLC for Mario vs Donkey Kong and Princess Peach showtime.

Xbox games announce for switch

It has been rough sailing for the Xbox this year. I think that it will be a good chance that more Xbox will come to the switch. Maybe it will be Hi Fi rush, Sea of thieves, Spyro, Gears of war collection, or something else?

Another Nintendo remake

I think that we will get at least one more remake before the end of the year. F zero gx, Kid Icarus uprising, Star fox, Donkey Kong 64, or something else.

Sega news

Last year, Sega did announce that they are bring back their classic IPs. I think that it is a 50/50 chance it will happen. I am not counting Sonic rumble.

New Mario party or Kirby party game

Their been rumors about these games. I think it will happen.

Fire emblem remake

Rumor have it that we will get a remake of genealogy of the holy war. Let’s see if this happen.

Something Zelda

I think that both Link and Zelda will have one last adventure before the switch rides into the sunset. Once again I believe that we’ll not getting twilight princess and/or wind waker. Most likely it will be a remake or a 2D or top down down. It could be spirit track, a link to the past, or something else. It could be that rumored Zelda stand alone game.

Metroid news

This is the big one. If we don’t get news about Metroid prime 4, then I believe that the game is not coming to switch at all. If we don’t get prime 4, then I believe that we will get to see prime 2 and 3 remastered. I hope to see all three games at the direct.

Back in February, I made predictions for a direct in that month. That direct never happened. I will count those predictions for the June direct. Please come back to see what I got right.
