Happy new year to everyone. Since this is the last day of the year, it’s time to revisit the predictions I made for 2022. Let’s see what I got right and what I got wrong.

Metroid prime 4 will not be shown

I am correct. I still believe this will be a launch title for the next system or at least in the launch window.

Metroid prime trilogy or prime one will appear

I was incorrect. Not one of them was release or shown. Maybe next year.

One major game will be delay to 2023.

I was right. It was the biggest one. I am talking about tears of the kingdom. I had guessed it would been Bayonetta 3 but it come out this year.

An Ip will return

Correct. It was Xenoblade chronicles 3.

Mario kart 9 is not coming next year

Correct.

A new Mario is coming in holiday 2022

i was wrong. In fact no Mario games came out this year. Maybe we will get one when the movie comes out next year. If that doesn’t happen then the new Mario game will come to the next switch.

The online service expansion pack will improve (slightly)

A hard one but I will say yes. There have been no issues with the emulations. Also we had a few N64 and genesis games. Nintendo still needs to work on it.

No switch pro or switch 2 in 2022

Correct. It might not come in 2023.

Breath of the wild 2 delay

Correct. May 12 2023

Metroid dread DLC

I am shocked I got this right.

Big 3 buys more studios

Correct. Sony might had bought something but the big one is that Microsoft is buying activision. Nintendo buy a studio damn it.

Gamecube to the expansion pack

No. Nintendo fix this.

Overall I got 9 right and 3 wrong. I done pretty damn well.

Happy new year to everyone. Since this is the last day of the year, it’s time to revisit the predictions I made for 2022.
