This past Tuesday was a day. It seems that everyone was trying to piss me off. Went I got home from work; I watched the state of play hope that it will put me in a good mood. Did it? You will find out that the end. To save time, I decided to combine both the predictions recap and highlights from the show.
For the predictions, I only got three correct. They were Marvel Tokon, the new God of War, and a returning IP (which is Until Dawn 2). Well, I did get two others right, but they weren’t at the state of play. The guesses Stellar blade 2 and FF7 part 3 were at the summer game fest show. So those doesn’t count.
Now for my highlights. First is Wolverine. We finally saw more of the gameplay. This time in real time. The gameplay does look both nice and bloody. I will say it again, I don’t know if I will buy it or not. Again this game is by the people that made spider man 2. Another reason I might not but is because of Debra Wilson. Once again, this woman is in another game. I have nothing against her but still. This time she is playing another unnecessary race swap character. I had enough of this race swapping s***. I will make a blog about Debra later on.
Next is Rayman legends retold. I have never played a Rayman game before. I am looking forward to this one. Then we saw more of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. This is the remake of the very first Tomb Raider game. Lara is looking so good. Sadly the game will not arrive this year. It got delaying till Feb 12, 2027.
We got more on Onimusha way of the sword. The game is out on September 25. Most importantly a demo is out now. I will download it. Then my next highlight is Phantom Blade zero. As I am writing this the game got delayed to October. Next is Stuntman Hollywood. You get to drive many famous cars in movie and TV history. Like Kitt from Knight rider. This will get its own state of play.
My biggest highlight is Until dawn 2. I still hope to play the first one soon. This time you play as a group of ghost hunters that make fake ghost hunting video and post them on YouTube. The group goes to a tropical island. I won’t spoil the rest, but you might have guess, the gang is now in real danger.
What do I think of the state of play. This did not put me in a good mood. This was below mid. If this is the future of PlayStation, the PS5 is not in good shape.
