It is 7:20pm on April 30 as I am starting to write this blog. It is safe to say that the new Starfox game will not be shown. At the start of the month I was pumped and setting on my hands. In the middle of the month, I still had faith. In the last week, I pertty much lost all faith. This morning, the first thing that that I did was to check my phone and see if Starfox finally came. We know what the result was.
It seems it was the perfect storm. Nate the hate said it will be show off in April, Nintendo has no big game coming out in June, and Fox McCould himself is in the hit super Mario galaxy movie. The stage was set that the long dormant series would make it glorious return. Well it didn’t. As a hugh Nintendo fan, me and many others are pissed today. WTF happened?
I do not blame Nate for this. Even the best gets it wrong sometimes. Maybe Nate’s sources got the wrong information and gave it to Nate. The most logical reason is that Nintendo might wanted to show it this month. They might have change their minds. Maybe they tought that the game wasn’t ready to be showcase so they delay the announcement. Things get delay in the video game business all the time. They might show Starfox in the next direct in June. To be honest I don’t know if we are getting a direct in June. Nintendo have been very strange (more than usual) in the switch 2 era so far.
Another reason is that a new Starfox game is nothing but a lie. Earlier this month, Nintendo prime said that Nintendo could of made this up becuse they are trying to find the leakers. Now Nintendo and other video game companies have done this tactic before. I will not be surpised that this is true. Nintendo lying about a beloved IP making a comeback is a scumbag move. As I said earlier, Nintendo have been very strange in this gerentation so far.
Maybe the new starfox game will come out this year. I just don’t know.
