Welcome to my first blog of 2026. I do hope that all of you will have a good 2026. Today I will continue on with my live action casting series. I am doing fighting force. Fighting force is a 3D beat ’em up game made by Core Design that came out in 1997. The quick version of the story is that Dr Dex Zeng and his army predicted that the world would end in the year 2000. When the end didn’t happen, he decided to take matters into his own hands and end the world himself. Now four fighters with their own vendettas to take down the mad doctor teams up to stop him.
Now I will cast the four main characters. Smasher, Mace, Alana, and Hawk. I tried to find actors with fighting experience, but I couldn’t. If I do, then I will do a recast blog. Ben “Smasher” Jackson is the first one. He is the big brute of the group. I think that Smasher is black. If I am wrong, I will correct it. The actor I choose is Winston Duke. He is in the two black panther movies.
Next is Mace Daniels. Mace is the sex kitten one, so I need a sexy woman to play her. I am going with YouTube star Rachel Pizzolato. I had Rachel as one of the finalists to play Lara Croft. If you see one of her YouTube shorts, she does have a bit of athletic skills. Alana McKendrick is a teenager, so I need an actress that is young enough to look like a teenager. I am going to pick Sophie Neillisse from Yellowjackets. I had a hard time finding someone to play Hawk Manson. This one is a stretch but I choice Gavin Casalegno from the show The summer I turn pretty.
