Well I finished my base roster for a possible but most unlikely Nintendo vs Capcom fighting game. You might ask yourself, where is my favorite Nintendo and/or Capcom character? There are likely two reasons why. First there are only 24 spots of each side and second, I forgot I mention this. I made a rule that they can only be up to four fighters from a franchise on the base roster. Now which would be fighter missed the cut.
Let’s start with Capcom. I was flinting with this character. He had been in many vs games. At the end I decided to not go with him. It is Phoenix Wright. Tron Bonne from Mega man legends was on the roster for a while. Yet ultimately, I went with Sigma. I almost gone with the hero from the first Onimusha game but i went with Strider as one of my sword fighters. I had Maximo from my Marvel vs Capcom 4 roster here yet I decided he will be on the bench this time. From Dark stalkers Felica and B,B, Hood came close.
Both Chris and Jill from Resident evil has been in the vs series many times before. I was thinking about adding them. I wanted new blood to represent Resident evil, so I went with Leon, Lady D, and Alexia. Finally I need to talk about Street fighter. Many might wanted Akuma to the roster, but I didn’t add him. I don’t know if E Honda have been in a vs game before. I came close to include him. The last one hurts me. The sexy Cammy is my favorite street fighter. Yet I felt that Ryu, Chun Li, Bison, and Luke were most important.
Now for Nintendo. Yoshi almost made it but my four-fighter rule stop him from being on the roster. Dixie Kong almost made it but she didn’t. Ness from earth bound miss the cut the earth bound series isn’t big enough. Twintelle and her sexy butt from arms didn’t make for the same reason as Ness. Ike from fire emblem almost made the cut but I had enough characters from that series already. Mew two from Pokemon came close because I wanted another to the roster and his psionic powers. I give those psionic powers to Samus. Speaking of Samus, three Metroid characters almost made it. Ridley, E.M.M.I. and Sylux came close.
If these or your favorite character didn’t make it, don’t fear. Down the road I will do a Nintendo vs Capcom DLC blog. Most likely I will do a Nintendo vs Capcom 2.0 roster blog as well. So there is a shot that your favorite might make it.
