With hell divers 2, stellar blade, and astro bot I thought that Sony had a good 2024. Well with the news that Sony cancelled 9 games and the psn went down for hours this past Saturday, 2025 is off to a rocky start for Sony. Today Sony is having their state of play which will last about 40 minutes. What will be shown? I am going to take my best guess. I am going with both leaks and my own guesses.
Astro bot DLC
Them2024 game of the year should get new stages and abilities for astro to use.
Sonic news
Leaks have it that a new Sonic game will be showcase here. Could it be that racing game.
Ghost of Yotei gameplay and release date
I was so so on this game. Then it was reported that a couple of the writers from dragon age the veil guard aka the fail guard is writing on this game. I might pass on this one. We should get some gameplay footage and a release date.
Stellar blade on PC release date
If this happens, all the Sony ponies will be ticked
Capcom
As always Capcom shows up in the state of play. This time it will be no different. We should get gameplay from monster hunter wilds. Maybe Mega man will return. Could it be the rumor re 5 and 6 remake.
Xbox games
Nate the hate hinted that hell blade 2 might be headed to the PS5. We already know that Forza 5 is coming. Will starfield follow suit?
Returning IP
Sony did say that they are thinking about bringing back some for their classic IPs. Will it be Jak and Dexter or Sly. I am hoping that it will be ape escape.
Kingdom hearts 4
Thanks to HMK for this one. I completely forget about this game. This will be showing up is the big longshot on this list. It would be a great way to close the show with.
God of war remastered
Rumor have it that the first three games will be remastered. I am both pumped and worry. Sony might remove the naked babes and remove some of the violences. Also they might make the remastered of the modern audience.
Wolverine
For the big one. We will finally see more of Wolverine. Don’t be shocked if they showcase Jean Grey, Storm, Rouge, and the other female x men instead of the man with claws.
