First off happy Memorial Day to everyone. Thank you to all that gave their lives to protect this great nation of ours. Sadly, it looks like that the switch 2 will not come out this year. Today I will make my predictions on what games will come out of the switch 2 and what month they will be release on. This time i will start on March 2025 and end in March 2026. I guess that I should had waited until Nintendo did their direct in June, but I just couldn’t wait. Once Nintendo do their direct, I will update in a future blog. Let’s do this.
March 2025
Mario Kart 9 or Mario 3D open world game
Like last time, one of these two games will be in the first month. I think it should be Mario kart 9 because it would be a massive system seller right off the bat. But Nintendo could start with a open world Mario game in order to show the power of the switch 2.
Elden ring
Just like the first two times, I believe that this game will be in the first month.
MLB the show 26
Nintendo needs more sports games. MLB the show should be the first one on the switch 2.
Metroid prime 4
The first two times I had Metroid prime 4 coming out in November. I am predicting that the switch 2 will have a very strong holiday season with many AAA games. So I am moving up prime 4 to March 2025. This game can be the graphical showcase for the switch 2. Of course this can change if the game is revealed at the direct.
April 2025
Hi Fi rush
We all know what is going on with Microsoft and the Xbox of late. Microsoft will put a few of their titles in the first year of the system. I think the first one will be Hi Fi Rush. This can change if this is shown at the direct.
FF7 remake
A while back Square Enix has announced that they will start putting all their major games on all platforms, which they should had done years ago. I think the Square Enix will have a huge presence in the first year of the switch 2. They have to. They barely have any money. The first game will be FF7 remake. With this being on Nintendo, Swuare will make some money quickly.
Crazy taxi
At the game awards last year, Sega announced that they are bringing back some of their IPs. I am predicting that the Dreamcast classic Crazy taxi will be the first one on the switch 2.
Monster hunter wilds
I’ve originally had this game in November 2025, but I think that this will arrive this holiday season. I think that Capcom want to put wilds on the switch 2 as soon as possible. So I believe that wilds will be in April 2025.
May 2025
Xenoblade Chronicles X
If you have been following me (which you should) I have lost all faith that we will never get a port of X. Then a few days ago, I watch the YouTube channel call that Nintendo quality (please subscribe to him). He said in a of his videos that he thinks that Xenoblade Chronicles X will come to the switch 2 instead of the regular switch. It got me thinking, he could be right. Both Nintendo and Monolith soft want this game to be ported on stronger hardware. I think that X will be on the switch 2 and it will arrive in May 2025.
Assassin Creed Shadows
Ubisoft or what I like to call them Ubislop could bring this game to the switch 2. If it comes, I think it will be in May. Most importantly please don’t buy this game. I am tired of these clowns trying to rewrite history. Enough is enough.
Astral Chain 2
This game needs a squeal badly.
June 2025
Tekken 8
Bandai Namco has from a studio called studio 2/studio s that will be focused on making Nintendo games. What will they make? We will see. First off, I believe they will bring Tekken 8 to the switch 2 in June.
FIFA
EA hadn’t given a damn about Nintendo for years. Since soccer is the most popular sport in the world. They will bring FIFA to the switch 2.
Sea of Thieves
Microsoft will ship (pun intended) this game about pirates in June.
Resident Evil 4 remake or 1 remake
I wish it was code Veronica but most likely it will be RE4 remake. There are rumors that RE1 will come out early next year. Maybe RE1 and/or RE4 will come in June.
July 2025
Visions of Mana
Square Enix will support the switch 2 once again with Visions of Mana. Why is this game not coming to the switch? I don’t know.
Halo: The Master Chief collection
This is a longshot, but the adventures of Master Chief will come to Nintendo. Maybe in July or later in 2025.
New Donkey Kong
The first two times I did this I have guess that Nintendo will bring back an IP of theirs. It could be F Zero, Star Fox, Kid Icarus, or something else. Yet I am going with a new Donkey Kong. Our favorite ape is long overdue for a return. Maybe they will announce a new one at the June direct.
Jet Set Radio
Sega will be set (pun intended) to bring back Jet Set Radio. The title feels perfect to arrive in the Summer.
August 2025
Street Fighter 6
I think that August will be a light month. Capcom will bring this hit fighting game in August.
Madden 26
The way EA is, this might not happen, but it should.
Starfield
This is also a longshot, but I think that both Microsoft and Bethesda will be bring the so-called game of a generation to the switch 2. They might have to use a cartridge that stored more memory in order to fix the game in.
Persona 3
Sega and Atlus will bring the thief known as Joker to the switch 2 in September.
Breath of the wild remastered
Come on, Nintendo can’t have the legend of Zelda out of the first year. There has been rumors about the classic breath of the wild will be remastered and it will be on the switch 2. It makes sense to me, so I am going with it.
October 2025
Call of Duty
With the holiday season upon us, the big games will arrive to the switch 2. Starting off with Call of Duty. The biggest gaming series in the world will make its grand return to Nintendo.
Sonic game
Like with Call of Duty, we always get a new Sonic game every year. It will be no different this year.
Mario Kart 9 or 3D Mario
Of the one that doesn’t come in March will come in October.
FF7 Rebirth
Because Sqaure Enix needs the money, FF7 Rebirth will arrive in October. It is weird that both games will come in the same year, but I think it will happen. Like with Starfield, I think that they will need to use a cartridge with more memory. Maybe Square Enix will work with Shiver.
Just Dance 2025
The hit series will make its debut.
November 2025
Pokemon legends Z to A or new Pokemon title
This might be announced at the direct but if it doesn’t, we will see it on the switch 2. If Z to A does comes to the switch, then we will get a new Pokemon game in November. They should take their time but come on this is Game Freak after all.
GTA VI
The is the biggest longshot of all but GTA 6 will be on the switch 2. Rumor have it that this game cost about s billion dollars to make it. If true, Rock star better work with Shiver in order to get this game on the system.
December 2025
Dragon Quest
Square Enix will strike the switch 2 again with the latest Dragon Quest game.
Gears of War collection
To end the year with a bang, Microsoft might bring a Gears of War collection to Nintendo.
January 2026
Fire Emblem
To start the new year off right, Nintendo will launch the latest Fire Emblem game. Just like Call of Duty, we have to get a new Fire Emblem game every year.
Ninja Gaiden
With Bandai Namco working with Nintendo, I have a good feeling that we will get a new Ninja Gaiden game.
Streets of Rage
Sega will bring a new and remaster version of Streets of Rage to the system.
February 2026
Baldur’s gate 3
The game that you have sex with a bear with arrive in the month of love.
Rayman
Ubislop will bring back Rayman in a new adventure.
March 2026
FF16
The action RPG will appear on the switch 2 in March.
Perfect Dark
If the developers can get their can get their s*** together, I do believe that Joanna Dark will make her return to Nintendo in March 2026.
Shinobi
Sega’s ninja will appear in a puff of smoke to the switch 2.
Bayonetta trilogy collection
It will be some time before Bayonetta’s daughter in her own collection. Until then, I think that we will have a chance to replay Bayonetta’s adventures in the collection with better visuals and performance (especially part 3)
