All right gang, it is time to continue on with my Nintendo live action movie casting series. By the title you have already guess the next Nintendo IP I am going with. Hell if Nintendo is not going to make another F zero game then make a F zero movie. Today I am going to cast the main of the series itself, Captain Falcon. I have selected a few actors that I think that can fit the role well. I am not an expert in casting, so I did my best. I have two rules when selecting an actor or actress for these roles. First I must have seen them act or star in a TV show, movie, commercial, or a music video. The second rule is that the actor and actress must look like the character as much as possible.
For resourcing for the captain, I use the F zero fandom page, cut scenes from F zero GX, and the anime series. I want Captain Falcon to pretty much remain the same. Men wants to be him, and women wants to be with him. To make him more relatable I will add flaws to his character. His flaws that his is bash, cocky, full of himself, a ladies’ man, and he treats women like they are only sex objects. Falcon never takes his helmet off. Even when his is having sex he doesn’t take it off. The main reason that he always keeps his helmet is beside the fact he is a racer on the F zero grand prix circuit, he is a bounty hunter. As a bounty hunter he must keep what he looks like a secret. He races, being a bounty hunter, and owns his cafe all under the alias of Bart Lemming.
His main personality is that he is somewhat of a loner. With his job as a bounty hunter, Falcon must be alone so his can only be hidden from the criminals that want him dead. After a race is over, Falcon goes straight to his private home on a small chain of islands that is miles away from his hometown of port town. He is able to afford the chain of islands with all the money he gets from prize winnings, endorsements, the bounties he gets from catching crooks, and his successful cafe he owns called the falcon house. Most of the time he stays on his islands by himself. The only time he has company is when he is having a woman over that he is going to sleep with.
I even made a plot of the film. The plot is that Captain Falcon is hired by his former employer the galactic federation’s mobile task force division which is head by a woman named Jody Summers. Jody wants Falcon to capture the head of the evil organization ‘Dark Million’ Black shadow who will be taking part of the F zero grand prix series tour. At the tour, Black shadow will attempt to steal a powerful device that will let Black Shadow to take over the entire galaxy. Captain Falcon agrees to the mission mainly because he have a personally score to settle with him. Soon Falcon will learn that there is way more to the mission than meets the eye.
Now to list the actors. At the end of the list I will pick the one that I believe will be the best at the role. (Also he can play Captain Falcon’s evil clone Blood Falcon)
John Cena
John have been in many action movies and Tv shows. Like the fast and furious series and the peacemaker series. He does look the captain. I am not sure that his acting skills are right for the role.
Chris Pratt
The voice of Mario himself. He have been in many successful films. With him playing star lord in the MCU, he does the acting skills to play Falcon. Of course he already got history with Nintendo voicing Mario in the billion-dollar hit movie. He is a major star that can bring butts to theaters. In order to play Falcon, Chris needs to lift some weights.
Ryan Reynolds
Ryan is also a big name star. He can bring some comedy to the role. He can make Falcon act like Deadpool in some ways.
Chris Evans
I think Chris can do the role justice. He can play the role like just he does with Captain America expect with some cockiness to it. He also got the muscular build for the role.
Henry Cavill
The former Superman have both the look and the build to play Falcon.
Alan Ritchson
Just like Henry, Alan have the look and the build. I am not 100 sure he have the acting chops to play Falcon.
For all the actors here, it was between Henry and Alan. I choice is Henry Cavill. Henry is a gamer. He cares about the history of the projects he is involved in. He also respect the lore of the projects he is involved in too. One more thing I think Henry is a better actor than most think his is.
