In my last blog, I listed 38 of the games that I want for my dram Genesis mini 2. Now I am back to list the final 12 games to round up the total amount to 50. I decided to pick 6 Genesis and 6 Sega CD games to add them to the mix. Once again thanks to Sega Lord X and other Genesis fans Youtube channels.
Genesis
Last month, Sega had another press event to tell what more games are coming to the mini 2. Columns 3 was one of the games announced, so I will have it in. We do need a puzzle game after all. Another fighting game is needed so I’m going with Super Street fighter 2: the new challengers. I had to pick between Phantasy star 2 or 3. I check and found out that most like 2 over 3 so Phantasy star 2 will be added. I am adding Toe Jam and Earl in panic on funkotron and Alien soldier to the lineup. Of course, we need another Sonic game so Sonic 3D blast will be a part of the mini 2.
Sega CD
The Sega CD of Road Rash will be in my version of the mini 2. The science fiction, adult theme, point and click game Rise of the dragon is needed. I going to add the mech game Battle crops. Full Motion video was a curse in the video games world back then. Yet I heard that Tomcat alley is good so I am adding it. Let’s put in the star fox like space shooter solstar. The last Sega CD is Popful mail.
That is it. Down the road I will update this. I most likely will remove and add games.
